instant form, donation link, ready-made donation form, donation form URL, copy link, pre-select amount, URL parameters, currency parameter, monthly donation link, project ID, skip to step 2, donation buttons, donate button

Your account comes with a ready-made donation form. You don't need to build anything: copy its link and put it on your website, in emails or on social media. The Instant form page gives you the link and shows how to pre-fill the form.

Charity accounts see this page. Users need the Donation Forms permission to open it.

Where do I find my donation form link?

  1. Go to Fundraise › Donation Forms › Instant form.

  2. Under Free, Ready to Use Donation Form, find your link:

    • Israeli charities get two links: English: and Hebrew:.

    • All other charities get one link, next to English:.

  3. Click Copy next to the link you want.

  4. Paste the link wherever donors should click to give.

How do I pre-select an amount, currency or frequency?

You can add parameters to the end of the link. The form then opens with these choices already made. The section Adding Parameters to your form lists them.

  1. Click Add to URL next to a parameter. It is added to the end of the link in the box above.

    • Israeli charities: it is added to both the English and the Hebrew link.

    • Each parameter is added only once.

  2. In the link box, change the example value to the value you want (for example, change 100 to 250).

  3. Click Copy and use the new link.

Parameter

Example

What it does

Sum:

&Sum=100

Pre-selects the amount. Replace 100 with your amount.

Currency:

&currency=1

Pre-selects the currency: 1 = Israeli Shekel, 2 = US Dollar, 3 = Canadian Dollar, 4 = Pound Sterling, 5 = Euro.

Frequency:

&freq=1

1 = one-time, 2 = monthly, 3 = annual.

Project:

&Projectid=999

Assigns the donation to a project. Replace 999 with your project ID.

Skipping to Step 2:

&step=2

Opens the form at step 2, where the donor enters their personal details.

You can also type a parameter yourself. Start each one with &.

Where do I find my project ID?

Go to Settings › Organization › Projects/Allocations. The list shows the ID of each project.

If your form has no project drop-down, the project is still assigned "behind the scenes".

When can donors skip straight to step 2?

Use &step=2 when the link already pre-selects the sum, the currency and the frequency. The donor then lands on the step where they enter their name and details.

Example of a full link ending: &Sum=180&currency=2&freq=2&step=2 (a monthly donation of 180 US dollars).

Where are the donation buttons? (Israeli charities)

Israeli charities also see a Donation Buttons section with ready-made button images, in English and in Hebrew. Save the image you want and place it on your website or in your emails. Then link the image to your donation form link.
